Toys for Tots worldwide was founded by the U.S. Marine Corps in Californiain 1947 to help address the tough times associated with the post war chaos of Europe and elsewhere around the globe. It has since grown to a worldwide charitable activity, including programs in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Puerto Vallarta. Toys are collected from various sources and donations, and distributed to needy kids on Three Kings Day. Our mantra – NO CHILD SHOULD BE FORGOTTEN BY THE THREE KINGS DURING THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS.

        We just completed the 7^th year of Toys for Tots in Puerto Vallarta. We have enjoyed community-wide support, including many businesses, civic organizations, and individuals, both Mexican and ex-pat. From a modest beginning of less than 1,000 toys in 2000, we have grown more than 10-fold to more than 8,000 toys in 2006.
